一、清除仿古门窗表面污迹时，采用软的棉布擦拭，用硬布很容易划伤表面。污迹太重时，可使用中性清洗剂、牙膏或家具专用清洗剂，去污迹后再擦干。

二、注意浸过中性试剂或有水分的布不要在木门表面长时间放置，否则会浸害表面，使表面饰面材料变色或剥离。

三、注意仿古门窗的棱角处不要过多的擦磨，否则会造成棱角油漆脱落。

四、合页、锁等经常活动的配件发生松动时，应立即拧紧，合页位置发生响声应及时注油，锁开启不灵活时可往钥匙孔加入适量的铅笔芯沫，不可随便注油。

二、仿古门窗的施工要点

1、门窗装入洞口应横平竖直，外框与洞口应弹性连接牢固，不得将门外框直接埋入墙体。

2、木材应选用一、二等红白松或材质相似的木材，夹板门的面板采用五层优质胶合板或中密度纤维板。油漆应采用聚酯漆，使用耐水、无毒型胶粘剂。

3、门应采用塑料胶带粘贴保护，分类侧放，防止受力变形。

4、防腐处理：若设计无要求时，门侧边、底部顶部与墙体连接部位可涂刷如橡胶型防腐涂料或涂刷聚丙乙烯树脂保护装饰膜。

5、大于1.5平方米的玻璃门应采用厚度5mm的安全玻璃，宽度大于1m 的仿古门窗，合页应按"上二下一"的要求安装，中间合页的位置应处于门框高度的2/3处。合页安装前，门框与门扇应双面开槽，注意合页的安装方向。
